| Ca-Mg-ATPase

The Ca²⁺-Mg²⁺-ATPase (calcium-magnesium adenosine triphosphatase) is a membrane-bound protease present in tissue cells and organelle membranes. This enzyme catalyzes ATP hydrolysis on the cytoplasmic side of the plasma membrane, utilizing the released energy to actively transport calcium ions either out of the cell or into the endoplasmic reticulum lumen for storage. This process maintains low intracellular concentrations of free Ca²⁺ ions.

| Recovery

The recovery of Mouse Ca-Mg-ATPase spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.
